What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) D. Sanchez, made an unannounced follow up Case Management inspection to the facility today in response to an Unusual Incident/Injury Report received in the San Diego Child Care Regional Office (SDCCRO) on 4/14/2025. Incident report states that on 4/11/2025, staff noticed child #1 standing alone by they playground gate as the babysitter was driving away towards modular #1 to drop off child #1's sibling. LPA interviewed facility staff, and reviewed child's record during today's inspection. Facility staff disclosed that they observed Child #1 babysitter walking in through the gate towards the classroom to drop off child #1. But instead of bringing child #1 to the teachers, she decided to leave him alone by the concrete play area inside of the gate without letting any of the staff know she was leaving child. There was no lack of supervision violation made by the facility. Facility director and staff took all the proper procedures on following up on this incident and acted accordingly.
