What the inspector wrote

On 7/21/23 at 7:33am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Martha Malane conducted an unannounced case management inspection for the purpose of a capacity increase. Upon arrival, LPA met with Licensee, Patricia Pradis and disclosed the purpose of the inspection and was led on a tour of the facility. There were no children and one (1) staff member present. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 7:30am - 5:30pm. Licensee is requesting a capacity increase from eight (8) to 15 preschool children. The indoor space previously measured 1167.49 square feet which is sufficient to accommodate 31 children, however licensee is only requesting a capacity of 15 children. The outdoor activity space previously measured 609.15 square feet which is sufficient to accommodate eight (8) children. An outdoor activity space waiver is granted for children to utilize the outdoor activity space on a scheduled basis, never to exceed eight (8) children at one time. LPA and licensee discussed the waiver and the conditions set forth. Licensee stated she understood and will comply with all conditions. A fire clearance for 15 preschool children (age 2-5 years) was granted 3/10/23. A capacity increase from eight (8) children to 15 children (age 2-5 years) is granted as of today\342\200\231s date, 7/21/23. No deficiencies cited. Exit interview conducted with Licensee, Patricia Pradis. Notice of Site Visit (LIC9213) shall be posted for 30 days from today's date. Failure to comply with posting requirements will result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
