What the inspector wrote

On March 12, 2024 at 11:50 AM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Gloria Gonzalez conducted an unannounced, Licensee initiated, case management inspection to inspect an opening (removal of wall between the family room #2 (daycare area) and dining room #2 that was a previously licensed section and met with Licensee, Dalilia Hurtado. LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection and was granted entry by the Licensee. The Licensee, Licensee's mother, helper, and seven (7) daycare children were present at the facility during this inspection. On 2/21/24, Licensee submitted documentation requesting to modify a already licensed area and making an opening to the wall between dining room #2 and the daycare area. On 3/11/22 Licensee advised the department that the construction was completed. Licensee accompanied LPA on a tour of the home and inspected the new opening. LPA did not see any hazardous items and is safe for daycare children to use as of today. A copy of the report and appeal rights (LIC 9058) and notice of site visit (LIC9213) was provided to Licensee and must remain posted for 30 days and advised must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. LPA interpreted and explained the inspection report to licensee in Spanish, licensee stated she understood. An exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee, Dalila Hurtado.
