On 02/27/2026 at approximately 10:45 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Julieta Abrego, made an unannounced visit to follow up on a self-reported incident that occurred on 02/11/2026, wherein a 4-year-old daycare child stated a staff hit him on the arm. The licensee was not present when the LPA arrived. LPA informed the licensees son what the visit was about and was let in. LPA met with the authorized representative, Paulina Martinez Alvarado. The Licensee Araceli Suarez arrived shortly after. LPA interviewed the licensee and one (1) staff. LPA was unable to interview the child as the child was not present during the inspection. LPA was also unable to interview additional children due to their limited verbal skills. The staff member who allegedly had hit the child is no longer present at the facility since the day of the incident 02/11/2026. LPA obtained a copy of the children's roster. Further investigation is needed into the incident that occurred on 02/11/2026. An exit interview was conducted, and the report was reviewed with the licensee Araceli Suarez. Notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. No deficiencies were cited.
