What the inspector wrote

On 8/11/25, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Crystal Ali and Carol Heath met with Director/Owner Shanna Johnson to conduct an unannounced case management inspection. The purpose of the case management was to follow up application request for a preschool play yard renovations dated 6/12/25. Upon arrival, LPAs observed 0 preschool and 4 staff members preparing for the new school year. School begins August 18, 2025. During this inspection LPAs conducted interview with Director. In addition, LPAs completed a safety inspection of the preschool play yard. Director informed LPAs that construction has not begun. The contractors plan to begin construction around the end of summer and finish in the fall. Director was informed to submit UIR for when construction begins and ends. Once construction ends LPA Ali will return to inspect the play yard for preschool children to use. LPA obtained photos of the preschool play yard. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted with Licensee, Shanna Johnson.
