What the inspector wrote

On 8/22/2025 LPA, Ortega conducted a Case Management- Inspection for the purpose of reviewing documentation submitted to the Palmdale office regarding a single license request to be able to accommodate infants and toddlers. LPA toured the facility, met with facility Director, Megan Hall-Sileira and answered facility's concerns and questions regarding the Infant/Toddler component compared to a single License and fire clearance. LPA Ortega went over facility's options and regulations for the toddler component with parental consent and waiver for out door play yard. During Inspection, LPA did not observe any infants in care. According to Facility they would like to hold off on the application request until further review is established. Facility agreed to notify Palmdale Regional office if facility will no longer proceed with application request and request inactive status instead since no infants are enrolled at this time. Director states she will first consult with her Administration Department and submit the inactive request upon decision. Inactive form LIC 9211 was provided to facility be email. Facility is aware annual fees are to remain current during inactive status and no infants/children shall be enroll until a request for an inspection is completed by the department. Notice of site visit was provided, appeal rights and notice of site visit.
