On 9/21/2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Carol Heath conducted an unannounced visit at the Wade, Patricia Family Child Care and met with the Licensee Patricia Wade. The purpose of the inspection was to deliver the findings for the above complaint allegations. During the course of investigating this complaint, LPA Heath conducted interviews with Licensee and other related parties. The interviews revealed inconsistencies in the allegations reported. Per Licensee and her assistant, the allegations did not happen. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the staff handled childcare child in a rough manor, inappropriately spoke and disciplined child; therefore, the above allegations are unsubstantiated. No deficiencies were cited. An exit interview was conducted and a copy of this report and LIC 9213 Notice of Site Visit were left with Licensee Patricia Wade.
