What the inspector wrote

On February 12, 2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Calloway conducted an unannounced case management inspection to the above facility. LPA met with the Licensee who granted access and toured the facility with the Licensee and observed five-day care children and two staff in care. On January 8, 2025, LPA observed the facility roster to have seventeen (17) children. On January 27, 2025, LPA spoke to the Licensee via telephone and Licensee stated, \342\200\234They were caring for six additional children that were not placed on the facility roster due to the facility being over capacity.\342\200\235 There is one Type B deficiency cited for 102417(g)(8) during this inspection. See 809D page attached to this report. Exit interview was conducted and a copy of this report was read, a Notice of Site Visit, and Appeal Rights were provided to Jaclyn Prado, Licensee at the facility. A Notice of Site Visit must remain posted for thirty (30) consecutive days. Failure to maintain posting will result in a $100 civil penalty.

This requirement was not met as evidenced by: Based on observation, interviews, and CCCC timesheets review, there were twenty-three children in care at one time. The licensee admitted having provided care to twenty-three children at her home which poses an immediate Health, Safety or Personal Rights risk to children in care.

(8) Each family child care home shall have a current roster...in HSC1596.841. This requirement was not met as evidenced by: Based on observation, interview, and record review the facility was providing care for children that were not placed on the facility roster which is a potential health, safety, or personal rights risks to the persons in care.
