What the inspector wrote

On 06/03/2025, Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Elizabeth Martinez conducted an unannounced licensee-initiated case management inspection. LPAs met with licensee Patricia Castellanos. A census was taken, and LPA toured the facility inside and out. The purpose for the inspection was to approve the dining room, Licensee constructed a wall in the dining room to convert a playroom for the children, and she put a door for the children to go out to the yard and another door for the children to use the same bathroom that licensee has, but with a different access entrance. The Licensee reported on 05/07/2025 that she would be having construction done in the dining room. The dining room has been off limits since May 2025. Licensee contacted Licensed Program Analyst (LPA) on 05/19/25 to report that the work was completed and ready for inspection. During today\342\200\231s inspection, LPAs inspected the dining room that was divided with a wall to convert an extra room to make a playroom for the children. Licensee also put 1 extra door for the kids to have access thru the playroom to go to the restroom. Licensee also put 1 extra door for the children to have access to the yard thru the playroom. LPAs observed safe toys, plastic child cars, and several playhouses. LPA did not observe immediate nor potential risk to children. LPA APPROVES the area. LPA obtained a new facility sketch which included the new dimensions of the indoor area. Children can now use/the playroom area effectively immediately. Per Chapter 3, Division 12, Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations no deficiencies are observed today. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
