Facility-requested visit·June 5, 2025

On 06/05/2025, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Elizabeth Martinez and Octavia Nolan met with Licensee Katrina Ceja for a case management inspection. Licensee reported that she was having construction done in her backyard on 04/21/2025. The backyard has been inaccessible to children during the construction and Licensee has requested to add the patio as an accessible area of the day care home again. LPA took a census and a tour of the facility. LPA inspected the backyard and observed the uncovered patio to be fenced, and the Licensee stated she will be adding shading. The patio is cemented and gated. Licensee stated children will not have access to the rest of the backyard and only the patio area. LPA did not observe any hazards present in the backyard at time of inspection and has approved the backyard for use. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with licensee Katrina Ceja.
