What the inspector wrote

On 08/12/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Nancy Her conducted an announced follow up Pre-Licensing inspection. Upon arrival, LPA met with Applicant William Edwards. The purpose of this inspection is to follow up on corrections from the 07/29/2025 pre-licensing inspection. LPA inspected the outdoor area during todays inspection. The facility currently is working on getting a fully fenced playground area. Fencing is at least four feet high. The total square footage for all the outdoor activity space is 6,512 square feet, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity. Shade is provided via canopy. Drinking water is available via water igloo and disposable cups. LPA observed all hazardous items on the playground to be inaccessible to children. Applicant William Edwards was reminded that any changes to the facility must be reported to and approved by Community Care Licensing. The following corrections were needed prior to the issuance of the license: \302\267 Updated LIC 200A \302\267 Updated facility sketch \302\267 Water Igloo and reusable bottles need to be in place \302\267 A fully equipped first aid kit needs to be on site \302\267 A parents board with required licensing documents need to be in place \302\267 Outdoor area needs to be fenced, and a shaded area will be needed. \302\267 Cots need to be moved to another storage area. \302\267 A child safety gate needs to be placed to keep kitchen area inaccessible to children. During today's inspection, LPA observed that the following corrections were completed: \302\267 Updated facility sketch \302\267 Water Igloo and reusable bottles are in place \302\267 A fully equipped first aid kit is on site \302\267 A parents board with required licensing documents is posted on the wall in the office \302\267 Cots have been moved to another storage area. \302\267 A child safety gate is placed to keep kitchen area inaccessible to children. \302\267 Canopy is installed in the outdoor area The following corrections are needed prior to the issuance of the license: \302\267 Updated LIC 200A \302\267 Outdoor area needs to be fully fenced A license for 57 preschool children will be granted upon final corrections and file review. Exit interview was conducted with Applicant William Edwards.
