What the inspector wrote

A second announced pre-licensing inspection was conducted today by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli. Met with Spanish-speaking Applicant, Alba Silva, her husband, adult daughter, adult niece and one minor child reside in the home. Background clearances are discussed and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults currently living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance. The purpose of today's inspection is to inspect the following corrections were made: Applicant made the PG & E meter that is located in the backyard inaccessible by installing a wooden barricade. Applicant stored all poisons under key lock inside a storage cabinet that is located in the backyard area that will not be accessible to the day care children. LPA observed that the pool gate and wrought iron fence is in compliance with Title 22 Regulations. Applicant is advised the following items must be corrected and documentation be sent to Fresno CCL within the next 30 days to avoid possible withdraw. Applicant will obtain fingerprint clearances for adult niece who resides in the home. Applicant states that the adult started the Live Scan process on 10/5/23. LPA observed that applicant did not add her facility number one the LiveScan form. (Continued on LIC809-C): Pending verification of corrections of the above items and a final review of her application, licensure as a Small Family Day Care Home capacity of 8 children ages under 18 years will be recommended. * Planned hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
