Facility-requested visit·May 27, 2026

On May 27, 2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Valentin Hernandez met with Licensee Brenda Alcazar for a case management inspection-licensee initiated. Also present was licensee’s assistant. Licensee requested to add a partial backyard area as an accessible area of the day care home. LPA took a census and a tour of the facility. LPA inspected that area of the backyard and observed it to be fenced and to have large 2 canopy’s for shade for the children. This area contained children’s play structures, toys, grass and an area designated for younger children. LPA did not observe any hazards present in that area; however, the path that leads from the home to that area of the backyard contained an area of concern and hazards. Licensee was advised that in order for that area of the backyard to be an accessible area for children she would need to correct the area of concerns/hazards. This area of the backyard is not being approved for use. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with licensee Brenda Alcazar.
