What the inspector wrote

On 05/29/24 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Beneroso conducted a Case Management Inspection - Licensee Initiated. Licensee is requesting to increase her capacity from 8 children to 14 children. The LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection and was granted entry by Licensee who guided the LPA on a tour of the facility. Upon entry to the facility the LPA observed 2 children in care. This is a one-story house with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, kitchen, dining area, and attached garage. Family members residing in the home include one adult (Applicant) and 1 minor child. The facility will operate Monday through Friday from 4:30AM \342\200\223 6PM for less than 24 hours and with a license capacity of 8 children. LPA went over the childcare ratios for a small family home with applicant and provided applicant with a copy. Main Care Area: Main care will be provided in the living room, dining area, room #1 one and room #2. Children will nap in bedroom #2. Per applicant has a for a food program. The day care children will utilize the bathroom on the hallway on the left-hand side. Children will use the backyard for outdoor play time. LPA observed day care area to be clean and orderly, central air and heating, age-appropriate toys and play equipment. There is a designated area for ill/sick children in the living room. LPA observed mats to be properly stored. Off-Limit Areas: The front yard, bedrooms 3 and 4, bathroom #2, and garage area are off limits to the day care children. LPA observed door safety knobs in the bedrooms, making the inaccessible to children.
