Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On April 2, 2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Paul Garcia conducted an unannounced case management inspection. LPA met with Site Supervisor Virginia Becerra. LPA Garcia toured the facility inside and out and took a census. While touring the outdoor play area for the infant license, LPA Garcia observed two (2) unattended five-gallon buckets of Sherwin Williams Super Paint, Paint and Primer mix located in the children\342\200\231s outdoor play area. Although the outdoor play yard was not being used at the time due to a low census, a gate that separates the two play yards was completely open making the paint accessible to the children on the other side which could pose a danger due to the paint being readily available to children once outside. Also, while inspecting the infant sleeping room, LPA Garcia observed the carpet to be separating from the floor which could pose a danger if readily available to children in care. Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, of the California Code of Regulations, the following deficiency is being cited: (see next page, 809 D) Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the facility representative Virginia Becerra. Report was discussed and issued. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Appeal Rights were discussed and issued.
