On 5/3/22, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kathy Pacheco conducted an unannounced inspection at the facility and met with Administrator Patty Gonzalez. The purpose of the inspection was to observe new playground structures and/or equipment at the facility. LPA observed the new playground structure, art easel, playhouse, and mud kitchen to be installed professionally with appropriate anchoring of the structures/equipment. The art easel, playhouse, and mud kitchen are placed on soft sand. The new playground structure is placed on artificial grass under a large shade port/tarp for shade. There is a posted sign on the playground structure indicating the recommended ages of use is children 2-5 years old. Effective immediately, the facility may use the newly installed playground structures and/or equipment for preschool children. Per Chapter 1, Division 12, Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations no deficiencies are observed today. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
