On 12/05/2023, an informal office meeting was conducted today at the Fresno South Regional Child Care Office with licensee Venus Govea, Licensing Program Manager (LPM), Luisa Gavoutian and Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs), Adrian Pizano and Kari McWilliams. The purpose of this office meeting is to discuss a recent complaint that was received in our office on 04/28/2023. The Family Child Care Home's history was reviewed with management prior to this meeting. The following was discussed: On 04/28/2023, a complaint was received with an allegation of a minor in home engaged in inappropriate interactions with day care child. This complaint was investigated by the Department of Social Services, Investigations Branch, Investigator Mariana Lomeli. On 11/17/2023, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Adrian Pizano and Kari McWilliams conducted an unannounced complaint inspection to provide findings for the above-mentioned allegation. LPM Gavoutian discussed with Licensee children’s personal rights, California Code of Regulations Section 102423. Licensee was reminded that childcare homes must comply with Title 22 regulations at all times. LPM discussed the Licensee’s responsibility to protect children’s health, safety, and personal rights at all times. Licensee will stay in compliance with Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3 regulations at all times. A signed copy of this report and appeal rights were provided to licensee Venus Govea on 12/05/2023. No deficiencies were cited during the 12/05/2023 informal meeting.
