Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On January 6, 2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Paul Garcia conducted an unannounced Case Management Other Inspection. LPA met with licensee Dianne Ringelsetter, then toured the facility and took a census. The purpose for the visit was to discuss and hand deliver a Department of Social Service letter dated December 20, 2023, notifying licensee that immediate action is needed for new fingerprint submission required for Richard Ringelstetter in order to remain eligible to work, reside, or be present in the facility. Licensee was informed several letters and electronic notifications detailing the fingerprint requirement have been sent to her inquiring about the status of Richard Ringelstetter. LPA advised Dianne Ringelsetter of the importance of checking her mail, email, and phone messages in order to stay up to date with licensing issues and requests from the department. LPA also provided a hard copy of form LIC9163 Request for Live Scan Services to help expedite the request from the department and per Dianne Ringelsetter, an appointment has been scheduled for January 7, 2025, at 2:00 PM. Licensee will provide proof to LPA as soon as the Live Scan has been completed. LPA advised Dianne once fingerprints are received by the Care Provider Management Branch (CPMB), the fingerprint response will be reviewed to ensure rapback service enrollment is complete. CPMB will contact the individual and/or facility if further information or action is required. If no additional information is required and rapback service enrollment is complete, eligibility letters will be mailed to the individual and facility. Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies are cited. Exit interview conducted with Dianne Ringelsetter. This report is to be made available to the public upon request. LIC 9213 Notice of Site Visit to be posted for 30 days.
