Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

A Case Management - Annual Continuation is conducted by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Thelma Razo and met with Patricia Yaghnam. LPA held an initial annual visit on 12/1/23 and toured the facility and reviewed children's records. Today, LPA reviewed staff records to include: staff qualifications, proof of immunization, pediatric first aid/CPR, TB test/chest x-ray, Health Screening Report, Criminal Record Statement, Statement Acknowledging Requirement to Report Child Abuse, Mandated Reporter Training Certificate and Employee Rights. Analyst reviewed new Assembly Bill (AB) 2370, Chapter 676, Statutes of 2018, which requires the testing of water for lead in Child Care Centers (CCCs) with facility director during the inspection. Per AB 2370, all CCCs that are located in buildings constructed before January 1, 2010, must have their water tested and post the results by January 1, 2023, and every 5 years after the date of the first testing. Per Ms. Mamie Aldama, facility manager, this location was built in 2016, therefore, exempt from the regulation.
