What the inspector wrote

On 04/24/2025, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Kruz Long and Monique Ayala conducted an announced case management licensee - initiated inspection. LPAs met with Sandra Trani, ECE Manager. The facility hours of operation are Monday - Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. There are 88 children enrolled. 84 children are present in 5 different classrooms during today's visit. Licensee is requesting a temporarily waiver for use of a different play ground in the elementary school due to renovation to the existing play ground. LPA's measured the playground. Play ground measured at 7624 sq/ft with a maximum capacity of 101 children. There is a climbing structure on the preschool playground for children which is properly anchored. There is adequate cushioning in fall zones of climbers provided by sand and outdoor cushioning material. LPAs reminded ECE Manager Sandra, that supervision is required at all times including visual supervision. LPAs observed the play yard to have adequate shading available, water pitchers will be brought out daily with disposable cups. There are sufficient outdoor age-appropriate toys and play equipment available on the playgrounds. There are no corrections needed at this time. Wavier request will be reviewed with measurements taken. Exit interview conducted and copy of this report provide to the Manager.
