What the inspector wrote

and after transition times through-out the day or as needed. Director states that once children are verbal about bathroom needs, they begin training children to use the restroom. LPA did observe that the outside playground, where the children play, does have wood chips. Therefore, the allegation has been determined to be unsubstantiated. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred. LPA issued a Technical Violation on this day and explained to Director to have staff check inside of diapers for wood chips after outside time and supervise when children are playing in those areas. While it did not cause any serious injury, however it has the potential to cause injury in their genital areas due to the material is made out of wood. The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing representative. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Exit interview was conducted and appeal rights, along with a copy of this report were given to Director, Patricia Uba. Page 2 of 2
