Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

Information from the complainant indicates that staff have acted in way that would be a danger to the children in care. LPA conducted interviews with staff during the investigation. There was conflicting information from the staff interviewed regarding the allegation. Parent interviews also provided conflicting information regarding the allegation. Adult interview made no disclosure regarding the allegation. LPA discussed with personnel that any facility personnel issues or discussions, should be conducted in private and not in front of the children or parents. Whenever possible, discussions should remain professional and open for discussion between facility staff and administration. Professionalism should be maintained whenever there is a need for correction, interview, or evaluation. Based on the information provided, although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation(s) did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated. The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) – must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit made by a licensing representative. Exit interview was conducted with Director Lucero San Lucas, at 12:25pm. Copy of report provided. END OF REPORT PAGE 2 of 2
