What the inspector wrote

On December 11, 2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Monique Ayala conducted an unannounced Case Management inspection at the above facility. LPA met with director, Angela Barlow who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. LPA observed 17 children with 8 staff members. The purpose of the inspection is to follow up on an incident that occurred on 11/20/2025 and was reported to the department on 11/21/2025; incident was reported timely. The incident referred to a leak in the roof in the bunny classroom. Per director, the infants in that classroom were sent home to ensure their safety. Per director the roof repair was completed on 12/03/2025 and the classroom floors and carpets were cleaned thoroughly prior to infants returning to the facility. During the inspection, LPA observed the roof to have been replaced. LPA toured the bunny classroom where an unusual odor was scented. Director informed LPA that their agency is going to look into what is creating that odor and follow up with LPA. LPA obtained relevant documentation that pertains to the roof repair. There are no deficiencies cited at this time. An exit interview was conducted and a copy of this report was provided to director, Angela Barlow. A Notice of Site Visit was provided and must be posted for 30 days.
