What the inspector wrote

On 6/11/25 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kamile Martin conducted an unannounced Case Management inspection at Washington Elementary School located at 975 E 9th Street Pomona Ca 91766. The summer program has begun and Acott Elementry childen and staff were relocated to this site until their program closes June 30 2025. LPA Met with lead Teacher Erika Moreno. She has 7 children and two staff in the classroom . The child LPA came out to visit /interview was not in school today. Teacher states child did not come to school Tuesday 6/10/25. The parents had court that day and child did not arrive today as well 6/11/25. The two days the child has been out are her fathers days to drop off at school. Child has never missed days consecutive teacher states. Teacher also stated she was subpoenaed to court on 6/10/25. The judge asked her to reserve the date of 7/15/25 for another court hearing but teacher has planned time off during that time. Teacher provided a copy of her subpoena she received along with two payments of $275.00 from The Law Offices of Michael L Fell. LPA will return at a later date to interview child and staff. LPA was provided an current facility roster. There are no deficiencies being cited at this time. An exit interview was conducted and a copy of this report was provided to Teacher along with Notice of Site Visit.
