On 09/12/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Tyra Chavies conducted an unannounced case management- Lead Testing/ Exceedance visit. LPA met with administrator, Sandy Hallworth, while director, Jennifer walla, taught a class.\302\240LPA informed director/administrator about the purpose of the visit and toured the facility. LPA observed 44 children being supervised by 5 staff members. During the tour of the facility, LPA observed the sunshine class to have a ratio of 13:1(13 children to one teacher. LPA notified director. Director took C1 out of Sunshine class and brought C1 to Pre-k (b). The facility is now in compliance. Per title 22 of the Code of Regulations, There shall be a ratio of one teacher visually observing and supervising no more than 12 children in attendance, except as specified in (b) and (c) below. During the tour LPA counted 44 children in care but the sign in/out sheet shows a count of 39 children in care. Per title 22 of the code of regulations, The person who signs the child in/out shall use his/her full legal signature and shall record the time of day. The person who brings the child to, and removes the child from, the center shall sign the child in/out. Per Title 22 Division 12 Chapter 1 there are two technical Violations being given today.
