What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ashley Calderon conducted a case management- other, LPA met with Director Candance Manansala and explained the reason for the visit. Reason LPA conducted a visit due to calls Quality Assurance calls to parents, mentioned to LPA Calderon food given to children is fine. Pre visit conducted on 1/30/26, LPA Calderon conducted a tour of the facility and observed lunch time, during lunch time children were eating pizza bagel with pepperoni, mini carrots, and orange slices. Children were schedule to eat chicken sandwich, LPA informed Director Manansala to write in changes in menu. Per Director, makes changes on Class Dojo to inform parents. LPA reviewed Menu posted in each classroom in the toddler and preschool side and menus are posted in front of the two entrance doors in the Information Bulletin boards. Per Director C.Manansala, informed LPA Calderon menu's are posted on Class Dojo and Administrative staff post menu's around the facility and on Class Dojo on Friday's, in advance for the week to come. Menu reviewed by LPA Calderon for 1/26/26 -1/30/26 and the whole month of February, LPA suggested more lean meats. Per Director Manansala, facility uses program Child and Adult Career Food Program (CACFP). Per Director Manansala, parents are able to supply food and facility can make alternative arrangements if children have a doctors note for Special Diets and Food Allergies. LPA Calderon informed Facility to review and follow the table chart for lunch listed on Title 22 regulations: 101227 Food Services. LPA Calderon reminded Director, table chart states to use Meat and Meat Alternates like Lean meat or poultry or fish . and tree nuts and seeds that may be used as meat alternates are listed in program guidance and to review food menus and make adjustment if needed. Per California Code of Regulation Title 22, no deficiency cited. A notice of Site Visit was given, must post for 30 days and an exit interview was conducted with Director Candance Manansala.
