What the inspector wrote

On 12/04/2025 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Lisa Clayton arrived unannounced at the Cabrillo Avenue Early Education Center to conduct a Case Management \342\200\223 Incident visit, following up on an Unusual Incident reported to the Department on 05/03/2023. LPA Clayton observed 31 children being supervised and cared for appropriately by 13 fingerprint cleared staff. For complete UIR details, see LIC 809 dated 08/14/2025. On 08/14/2025, LPA Lisa Clayton conducted an unannounced visit to the CCC, interviewed staff and received copies of the LAUSD Investigative Intake Report, and the LAUSD Incident Report as entered into the LAUSD IStar system. LPA Clayton also obtained a copy of the CCC employee center classroom schedule. During the interview with the EEC Principal, LPA Clayton requested the full investigative report from LAUSD, with findings. On Friday 08/15/2025, LPA Clayton received an email from the Principal advising \342\200\234that a full investigation was conducted by the district. It was determined that the allegation could not be substantiated. The district will not be releasing any information regarding the investigation.\342\200\235 On 09/25/2025, LPA Clayton conducted a Collateral visit at another Early Education Center and interviewed the Center Principal and staff (teachers and aides). Based on LPA\342\200\231s interviews and observations, Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, of the California Code of Regulations and/or Health and Safety Codes, no Deficiencies or Technical Violations were cited. An exit interview was conducted, the report was reviewed and provided to Lead Teacher Adrienne Roy. LPA Clayton posted a Notice of Site Visit which must remain posted for 30 days.
