What the inspector wrote

On 9/26/25 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ranita Richmond conducted an unannounced case management incident inspection at Park Western Place EEC located in San Pedro for the purpose of following up on the unusual incident that was self-reported by the facility. The El Segundo Child Care Regional Office received the report on 9/10/2025. Upon arrival, LPA met with and discussed the purpos e Deborah Aguet. , Administrator of the visit. LPA toured the facility inside the classrooms and outside. LPA observed 75 children in care with 16 staff providing care and supervision. According to the incident report, on 9/10/2025, on 09/09/2025 during outdoor play time C1 lost her balance, fell, and hit her head causing bleeding in the back of C1 head. Mom and paramedics were called. During today\342\200\231s inspection, LPA called the parent of C1, no answer, left voice message to call LPA. LPA interviewed teacher Greathouse. LPA was unable to interview C1 due to child refused to speak with LPA. C1 seemed to be in good spirits, as she was talking to teachers and moving about around the classroom to different areas and activities. Per the report, parent took C1 to the emergency room on 9/09/25 and laceration was glued. C1 was cleared to return to school on 9/10/25. C1 has been present and in school since incident with no restrictions.. At this time, no further investigation is necessary. Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies cited today. An exit interview was conducted and a copy of this report along with the Notice of Site Visit were provided to Deborah Aguet, Administrator.
