What the inspector wrote

On 04/27/2022, Licensing Program Analysts (LPA), Cynthia Reyes conducted an unannounced Case Management Continuation Annual Inspection and met with Licensee Dolores Plasencia. At the time of arrival there was 6 children in care, which 2 were Infants. Licensee was present, as well as her adult daughter and her husband. Inspection was due to computer malfunction with the new inspection tool. Citations and TAs came up during this inspection and LPA observed some of the items have been corrected by the licensee. See POC pages that were also provided during this inspection. Licensee states that they are currently caring for infants . LPA discussed the safe sleep regulations with licensee Dolores and discussed the Child Care Licensing Safe Sleep web page at: https://www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/child-care-licensing/public-information-and-resources/safe-sleep as an additional resource. LPA also informed licensee of the importance of checking for recalled infant devices on the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) website at https://www.cpsc.gov/ and recommended they register all infant devices with the CPSC to be notified of any recalls on their purchased equipment Based on the LPA observations and records review, the following deficiency listed on the attached LIC 809D (deficiency page) are being cited in accordance with California Code of Regulations Title 22. Deficiency that are being cited need to be cleared to protect the children\342\200\231s health & safety. LPA Reyes informed licensee Dolores that this report dated 06/14/22 document(s) 2 Type A citation(s) which shall be posted for 30 consecutive days as there is/are immediate risk(s) to the health, safety, or personal rights of children in care. Also, LPA Reyes informed the licensee Dolores to provide a copy of this licensing report dated 6/14/22 that documents any Type A citation(s) to parents/guardians of all children currently enrolled by the next business day or the next day the children are in care, and to any newly enrolled parents/guardians for 12 months from the date of this report. A signed Acknowledgement of Receipt of Licensing Report (LIC 9224), or other written statement, must be placed in the child's file for verification. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee Dolores Plasencia
