Type A. Serious citation. Imminent or substantial risk to children. The regulator requires corrective action immediately and may impose a civil penalty.
Type B. Lower-severity citation. Corrective action required, no imminent risk. The regulator monitors compliance on the next visit.

Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in LPA observed 2 pool gates. pool gate close to home does not self close or self latch. Pool gate located towrds the back of the pool self closes and self latches; however gate swings towards the pool. LPA also observed sections of the pool gate to exceed 4 inches from the hard surface floor. LPA also observed vertical gap to measure over 4 inches and LPA observed a table that could be used as a foothold next to the pool gate which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in LPA did not observe a safety alarm in the pool which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in LPA did not observe a life ring with a minimum exterior diameter of 17 inches and labeled as approved by the United States Coast Guard, LPA did not observe a rescue pole with a body hook and a minimum fixed length of 12 feet, and licensee did not have records of a daily inspection of the drowning prevention safety features and safety equipment before opening the facility and maintain a log of the inspections to be provided to the department upon which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
