Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

Per Interview with Licensee, Licensee stated the home does have a pest issue. The home has been fumigated a few times to get rid of the roaches and sticky traps have been placed throughout the home to try to help. The last time pest control came to the home they recommended the basement be fumigated as well to ensure all of the roaches are gone. Per Licensee the entire home including the basement will get fumigated again. Licensee stated her youngest child enrolled is 6 months and the oldest 8. LPA discussed with the Licensee, safety concerns for the infants and toddlers enrolled because they spend the majority of their time on the floor. Licensee stated she has gotten rid of any furniture she thought was infested and will make sure the day-care area is clean at all times. Based on the LPA observations and interview with Licensee, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore the above allegation is found to be Substantiated.
