What the inspector wrote

On 5/19/25, at 1:30PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Joe Katrdzhyan conducted an Unannounced Annual/Random inspection to the above facility. Upon arrival, LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection and met with Licensee, Hripsime Antonyan who guided the LPA on a tour of the facility. Adults in the home were discussed and all have criminal record clearance. There were 7 day care children present during today\342\200\231s inspection. Licensee states that there are currently 10 children enrolled. The children's roster was reviewed and is current. Per licensee, the facility\342\200\231s hours of operation are Monday - Friday, from 8AM - 6PM. Emergency Disaster Plan, License, and Parents\342\200\231 Rights were posted at the time of inspection. Disaster drill log was also available during today\342\200\231s inspection, last disaster drill conducted on 4/23/25. This is a single story home which consists of a living room, dining room, kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an attached garage. Areas that are accessible to children are as follows: Living room (which is used as the main day care room), Bathroom 2 (located inside the living room area) and back yard. The backyard has grass and concrete with age appropriate toys. Per Licensee, off-limits areas are as follows: Bedrooms #1 - #3, dining room, kitchen, bathroom #1 and attached garage. The washer and dryer are located inside the garage. The off-limits rooms are made inaccessible by a safety gate and child proof door knobs. All areas identified on the facility sketch as accessible to children were inspected to ensure that they are clean and orderly with ventilation and heating for the safety of the children. There is a working telephone maintained in the home. LPA observed age appropriate toys, free of loose and sharp parts. LPA observed electrical cover outlets all through the home. Detergents, cleaning compounds, medications, and other items Pg. 1 of 2 which can pose a danger to children are inaccessible. The Licensee states that there are no poisons in the home. The Licensee does understand that poison must be locked with a key or combination lock. The Licensee was advised that inaccessibility of hazards must be constantly reassessed depending on the children in care. Per licensee, there are no pets and LPA did not observe any pets at the time of visit . Per Licensee, isolation area for sick children is in the corner area of the living room. Licensee provides breakfast, lunch, PM snack and dinner to children. Food preparation areas were toured for safety, cleanliness and proper equipment. LPA observed backyard has grass and adequate perimeter fencing through-out the yard. LPA advised Licensee that outdoor supervision is required at all times. LPA observed age appropriate toys free of loose and sharp parts available for the children in the backyard and all trees, shrubs, and plants are maintained. Per Licensee, there are no weapons, firearms in the home and there are no bodies of water around the premises. The valve on the required 2A 10BC fire extinguisher indicates fully charged. Smoke / Carbon Monoxide detector was tested and observed to be operational. Per Licensee, the First Aid kit is kept in the closet, located inside the living room . The First Aid kit was inventoried for necessary supplies. Due to time constraints, a continuation visit will take place at a later time/date in order to complete the Annual/Random inspection. There were no deficiencies issued during today's visit. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with the Licensee.
