What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Tatiana Bickham conducted an unannounced Case Management-Other visit at the above facility on 05/20/2-26 at 9:20 AM. Upon arrival, LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection and met with Gevorg Terzyan Licensee, who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. There were no day care children present during today’s inspection. LPA is following up on a notice received by the Department alleging that the facility is regularly burning materials that smell like garbage or a toxic substance. LPA spoke with the Licensee, who stated they do not burn anything in the home. LPA observed a fireplace and an outdoor grill at the home. The fireplace is gas-operated, and the Licensee stated it is used occasionally. The Licensee also stated the outdoor grill is used on weekends or after the facility is closed. LPA did not observe any odors resembling toxic substances or garbage inside or outside the home. LPA informed the Licensee they are permitted to burn items within their home, however, the Licensee stated they do not do so. No violations were issued during today’s inspection. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee Gevorg Terzyan. Appeal rights were provided.
