What the inspector wrote

On 02/26/2024 Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Laticia Thompson met with Priscilla Rivera, Director and Mitul Sharma, Licensee. The purpose of the visit is a Prelicensing Inspection to ensure that health, safety and personal rights as required by Title 22 and Health and Safety Regulations governing California Child Care Centers will be met. There were 61 children and 10 staff members present during this inspection. This is an application to transition the facility to a single license caring for 24 Infants ages 6 weeks- 2 years and to include the Preschool license number 197494827 and to accommodate 110 preschool children ages 2 years to entry into the 1st grade. The childcare center will operate Monday \342\200\223 Friday 6:30 AM. \342\200\223 6:00 PM. The fire clearance was approved on 1/26/2024. LPA toured and measured the on-limits areas. The facility has a total of 8 classrooms. Today\342\200\231s visit is for the purpose of obtaining measurements of the proposed indoor and outdoor space. Preschool Classroom measurements are : The Indoor measurements contain a total of 3,822.45 which will not accommodate Applicant\342\200\231s request for 110 children. Based on today's measurements the facility capacity limit for indoor space is a total of 109 children. Preschool Outdoor Play measurements are: The outdoor activity space measurements contain a total of 8161.72, which will not accommodate Applicant\342\200\231s request for 110 children. Based on today\342\200\231s measurement the facility capacity limit for outdoor space is a total of 109 children. Infant Indoor measurements are : The Indoor total measurements contain a total of 733.85 which will not accommodate Applicant\342\200\231s request for 24 infants. Based on today\342\200\231s measurement the facility capacity limit for indoor space is 21 infants. Infant Outdoor Activity measurements are: The outdoor activity space total measurements contain a total 1127.05 which will not accommodate Applicant\342\200\231s request for 24 infants. Based on today\342\200\231s measurement the facility capacity limit for outdoor space is 15 infants. A second visit will be conducted for an indoor and outdoor inspection. An exit interview was conducted with Mitul Sharma, Applicant/Licensee. LPA provided Licensee with appeal rights and a copy of this report.
