What the inspector wrote

On 04/25/2004 Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Laticia Thompson met with Applicants, Mujtaba and Uranas Noorzay. The purpose of the visit was an announced Prelicensing Inspection at the facility to ensure that health, safety and personal rights as required by Title 22 and Health and Safety Regulations governing California Child Care Centers will be met. This is an application for a Single License with a Total capacity of 107; 18 infants ages 0-24 months and 89 Preschoolers ages 2 years into entry of 1 st grade. The childcare center will operate Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Today’s visit is for the purpose of obtaining measurements of the proposed indoor and outdoor space. LPA toured measured and inspected the on-limits areas. The fire clearance was approved on 02/12/2024. The facility has a total of 8 classrooms. Classrooms 1 and 8 will be dedicated to the infant program, Classrooms 2 – 7 will be dedicated to the Preschool Program. Preschool children will have access to 7 sinks and 7 toilets. Infants will have access to 2 sinks and 1 toilet. Infant Indoor measurements are : The Indoor measurements contain a total of 708.38 which will accommodate Applicant’s request for 18 infants. Infant Outdoor Activity measurements are: The outdoor activity space measurements contain a total of 856.97 which will not accommodate Applicant’s request for 18 infants. Based on today’s measurement the facility capacity limit for outdoor space is 11 infants. Preschool Classroom measurements are : The Indoor measurements contain a total of 2,819.52 which will not accommodate Applicant’s request for 89 children. Based on today's measurements the facility capacity limit for indoor space is a total of 80 children. Preschool Outdoor Play measurements are: The outdoor activity space measurements contain a total of 12,733.75, which will accommodate Applicant’s request for 89 children. A second visit will be conducted to complete the indoor and outdoor inspection. An exit interview was conducted with Applicants Mujtaba Noorzay and Uranus Noorzay, LPA provided Applicant with appeal rights and a copy of this report.
