What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Tatiana Bickham conducted an unannounced Plan of Correction (POC) Visit on 6/1/2026 at 11:01 AM. Upon arrival, LPA met with Licensee Larysa Shevchuk who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. Licensee's primary language is Russian, Licensee's staff provided translation. Other Licensee Anton Skrypnyk was not present during today's inspection. There were 12 day care children present during today’s inspection. LPA also observed 2 additional staff present at the time of this inspection. During the Case Management-Other visit conducted on 5/19/26, the following deficiencies were issued: Type A- 102423(2)(a ) / Personal Rights. 102423(2)(a )- Licensee Anton Skrypnyk sent LPA Bickham photos on 5/19/26 and stated they removed the beds. LPA did not receive the declaration. During today’s inspection, LPA observed napping equipment (a crib and a play yard) stored in the garage. Per the Licensee’s assistant, the children do not nap in the garage, but the items are stored there. LPA informed the Licensee that the POC required removal of the crib and play yard and that they must not be placed back in the garage. LPA informed the Licensee if they close the napping equipment they can store it in the garage, LPA stated it must be closed each time they store it in the garage. At 10:00 am LPA observed the napping equipment removed from the garage. The following technical violation is being cited in accordance with California Code of Regulations Title 22. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee Larysa Shevchuk. Appeal rights were provided.
