Facility-requested visit·August 4, 2023

On 08/04/2023 Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Doris Whitmore made an announced visit to CCRC Headstart- Woodman for the purpose of conducting a Case Management - Licensee Initiated inspection to decrease the preschool capacity and add a toddler component. LPA did not observe care and supervision due to care not resuming until August 15, 2023. According to the facility sketch there is the office, 5 Preschool Classes and 1 Toddler Classroom. Classrooms were equipped with a changing table close to the sink. PA inspected the rest rooms and observed: 19 operable toilets and 13. sinks Classroom (1) measured to have 22 children classroom (2)23 children, classroom(3) 25 children, classroom (4) 12 children, classroom(5 )23 children, classroom (6) 17 children Based upon LPA Whitmore's inspection today the facility needs to update the First Aid kit in rooms 3 & 4, once proof of the updated kits is obtained the facility can be licensed for the requested capacity of 9 Toddlers and 103 Preschool children.
