What the inspector wrote

On 02/02/2024 , at 09:30 am an unannounced Case Management-Covid Outbreak follow up inspection was conducted by Licensing Program Analysts, (LPA`s) Shushanik Safaryan and Anomeh Eivazian .LPA`s were following-up on an Covid Outbreak reported on 01/10/2024. Covid risk assessment was conducted, and LPA`s wore appropriate gear. LPA met with Facility Representative ,Jenny Butterworth , who guided LPA `s on a tour of the infant program and took a census of 19 children with 9 staff. There were 10 cases of Covid confirmed on 01/10/2024 and was reported to the Department on 01/11/2024 via telephone and email a written report to Community Care Licensing Department. The facility reported the incident in a timely manner. LPA interviewed Facility Representative who confirmed that staff and families were informed. Should anyone test positive then they need to quarantine for 5 days and provide negative test. The Department of Public Health was notified, and investigator assigned . The facility conducted deep cleaning and disinfecting of the facility, including toys and classrooms. Per Facility Representative cleaning crew comes every day , toys washed every day. Per Facility Representatives, children and staff will be sent home if they display any symptoms, fever . During this inspection LPA`s obtained from the Facility Representative Covid -19 Outbreak Clearance Letter issued from County of Los Angeles Public Health dated on 01/23/02024. Per letter obtained from Facility Representative. Los Angeles County Department of Public Health has completed its investigation regarding the outbreak and determined as of 01/23/2024 outbreak ended in the facility. No citations are being issued at this time. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
