What the inspector wrote

On 7/28/25 at 9:30AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jeanine Lipsey conducted an unannounced,\302\240 Case Management - Deficiencies inspection. Upon arrival, LPA was guided on a tour of the facility by Assistant Director Beatric Gamora, to whom the purpose of the inspection was announced. Owners Maritza Levi and Eban Levi arrived around 10 am.\302\240Census:\302\240 There were eighty five children being supervised by twelve staff. Room 3C 8 children 1 staff Room 2A 17 children two staff Room 3A 6 children 2 staff Room 3B 11 children 1 Staff Room 2B 18 children 2 staff Room Pre-K A or room A 7 children 1 staff Room Pre-K B 18 children 3 staff. During the tour, LPA observed several older children playing on the yard with the younger pre-k children. The assistant stated they have a summer program with the Department. of Education, children age range from 6.5 to 9 years olds. They were being supervised by 4 staff. The assistant stated they have a total of 69 children enrolled in the summer program 31 are pre-k and 38 are school age. 52 summer camp children were present on campus today. All the children were not present on the yard at the same time. About 13 children were in the swimming pool with an instructor and 2 other staff supervising. The center does not have a waiver to share the playground. The owner stated they were not aware they needed one and thought they were " grandfather" in since they have been doing summer camp for years and no one never told them different. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Assistant Director Beatric Gamora.\302\240 A Notice of Site Visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. The center does not have a waiver to share the playground. The owner stated they were not aware they needed one and thought they were " grandfather" in since they have been doing summer camp for years and no one never told them different. During the tour LPA was told that Room Pre-K "A" had children age 4.5 to 5.5 and Pre-K "B" children were ages 4-5 years. LPA reviewed the roster noticed 4 of the children were already were 5 years plus. LPA advised the owner, per their license, the oldest the children could be was 5 years. The owner stated they were 4 entering pre-k, they turn 5 and then they move on to their elementary school at the end of thier preK year. The license says through ages 2 through 5 years. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Assistant Director Beatric Gamora.\302\240 A Notice of Site Visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
