What the inspector wrote

On 6/8/2023 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Judy Laureano conducted an unannounced case management inspection for the purpose of ensuring the standards are being met in accordance to California Tittle 22 Regulations and California Health and Safety Codes. LPA met with Dimuthu Ratnasekare and toured the facility indoors and outdoors. During today\342\200\231s inspections there was 20 children and 4 adults including D. Ratnaskare providing care and supervision. Based on observations and document review facility is being cited, please see LIC 9099D. LPA completed a file review and is recommending facility to The Technical Support Program (TSP). TSP is a non-enforcement program of the Community Care Licensing Division and provides services and products to help providers meet licensing requirements. LPA\342\200\231s provided facility director a copy of the TSP Program. Copy of this report was provided with Notice of Site Visit.

The licensee shall obtain specific instructions from the authorized representative regarding action to be taken. This requierment was not met as evidence of parent interviews stating that they were not called when child sustained a head injury. This is a potential health and safety risk to the children in care.

This requierment was not met as evidence by: LPAs observation of 2 metal poles not having a soft cushioning,hanging branch under the slide and outdoor mats curling. This is a pontential health and safety rish to the children in care.

    101229 Responsibility for Providing Care and Supervision(a)The licensee shall provide care and supervision as necessary to meet the children's needs. This requierment was not met as evidence of LPA observations and interviews stating that they had turned their back when child fell.
