What the inspector wrote

On 01/28/26 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ranita Richmond arrived at the above named facility to conduct an unannounced case management incident visit due to unusual incident report (UIR) received in person. LPA was greeted by site supervisor, Lisa Perez. LPA advised site supervisor to turn in written/ typed LIC 624 via email to: esroincidentreports within 7 days of the incident. LPA toured the facility both indoors and outdoors. LPA observed 53 children and 15 staff members providing care and supervision. Facility contacted the case carrying LPA to report an unusual incident that occurred at the facility on 01/27/2026. Unusual incident report submitted to the El Segundo Child Care Regional Office states that parent spoke to site supervisor on 01/27/26 and advised site supervisor that C1 told mom that S1 violated C1 personal rights by sticking a finger up C1 butt. The day of the incident, site supervisor confirmed that 2 staff members were inside the classroom providing care and supervision to 11 children. During today’s inspection, LPA observed the classroom and LPA interviewed staff. Per Site Supervisor, Mom has not disenrolled child from the program but states that she does not feel comfortable with child attending CCC until further notice. Site Supervisor provided LPA contact info for S1, C1 and parent. There were no citations issued during today’s inspection. The Unusual Incident Report investigation will continue. An exit interview was conducted. A copy of this report and Notice of Site Visit was provided to site supervisor Lisa Perez.
