What the inspector wrote

On 2/25/26 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ranita Richmond conducted an unannounced case management incident inspection at Allies for every child inc., located in, Culver City, 90230 for the purpose of following up on the unusual incident that was self-reported by the facility. The El Segundo Child Care Regional Office received the report on 10/31/2025. Upon arrival, LPA met with administrator, Ericka Vorfeld and discussed the purpose of the visit. LPA toured the facility inside the classrooms and outside on the playgrounds. LPA observed 48 children in care with 13 staff providing care and supervision. According to the incident report, on 10/31/2025, on 10/30/2025 while transitioning child pulled the fire alarm. During today’s inspection, LPA observed classroom transitions and fire pull system in classrooms. Hard plastic covers have been installed inside each preschool classroom over the pull fire alarm systems as of 01/05/26. LPA observed covers placed on the pull alarm systems. During the incident there were three teaching staff, and 17 children present during transition. Based on the information received there is not sufficient evidence to indicate that there was a lack of care and supervision. At this time, no further investigation is necessary. Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies cited today. An exit interview was conducted and a copy of this report along with the Notice of Site Visit were provided to Administrator, Ericka Vorfeld.
