Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On 03/25/2024 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Cristina Castellanos conducted an unannounced case management inspection at the above-mentioned address for the purpose of ensuring the standards are being met in accordance with California Tittle 22 Regulations and California Health and Safety Codes. Upon arrival LPA met with assistant C. Phillips Woodall and discussed the purpose of the visit. Shortly after Licensee Finister arrived with adult son/assistant. LPA then toured the home both indoors and outdoors. During today\342\200\231s inspection there were 4 children, 2 assistants, and Licensee Finister providing care and supervision. LPA previously had conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 03/13/2024 and cited a deficiency on Title 22 regulation 102417(b) \342\200\223 The home shall be kept clean and orderly, with heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. Requirement at that time was not being met. Based on observation, regulation 102417(b) is being met during today\342\200\231s inspection. Licensee removed all items creating a clutter throughout the home and blocking back entrance. Licensee is complying with the requirements in accordance with California Tittle 22 Regulations and California Health and Safety Codes. Furthermore, LPA observed that some of the items inside the home were set in the backyard. Per Licensee Finister all items will be clear in a month. Additionally, LPA spoke to Licensee regarding the open face heater not being screened/barricaded. Licensee Finister said she will provide the Department with a notice from the Gas Company stating heater is permanently shut-off, if unable to do so will barricade the open face heater. An exit interview was conducted, and report reviewed with Licensee Finister. A copy of this report was provided. To Licensee. A Notice of Site Visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100 .
