What the inspector wrote

On 9/25/2025 Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Tyler Reyes and Javier Duran arrived at the above licensed facility to conduct a POC inspection to follow up on the citations that were cited on 09/17/25. Upon arrival, LPA met with Licensee Brenda Broome and observed (2) children in care. LPA reviewed the following : 9/17/25 Outdoor: LPA observed the backyard water heater door with multiple areas of chipping paint. This condition poses a potential health and safety risk to children in care. 9/25/25 Outdoor: LPAs observed the backyard water heater door with paint chippings on both door and floor removed. LPAs reminded Licensee to routinely check the door for possible future chipping or splinter hazards. No deficiencies were observed during today's visit. Exit interview was conducted and a copy of the report was given to Licensee with appeal rights. A clearance letter of the deficiency was given and a notice of site visit must remain posted for 30 days.
