What the inspector wrote

On 5/3/2023 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jillinda Chandler made an announced visit to Children of Our Savior for the purpose of conducting a Case Management Licensee Initiated inspection. The licensee is requesting to decrease the preschool capacity from 144 to 84 to accommodate the opening of their new Infant/Toddler program (#197495256). The Licensee plans to accomplish this by using rooms 3,4,5, and 6 for preschool operations. LPA met with director Olubukola Salako and a tour of the classroom and outdoor activity spaces, were observed and measured. The following measurements were taken. The indoor activity space measurements were: 2947.15 divided by 35 square feet per child = 84 preschool children The outdoor activity space measurements were:4275.61 divided by 75 square feet per child = 58 children. The outdoor activity space for preschool use are located in the center of the school and outside of room 6. Children shall not commingle with other programs on the premises There were: 4 toilets and 5 urinals (1 urinal counted for every 2 toilets and 1 toilet for every 15 children) = 90 children 8 sinks 1 sink for every 15 children = 120 children The facility shall be granted a decrease in capacity from 144 to 84 pending an outdoor activity space waiver. An exit interview was conducted and the report was conducted with director Olubukola Salako.
