What the inspector wrote

On 3/25/2022, at 11:30am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Veronica Wheatley conducted an unannounced Case Management and met with Lead Teacher Child Development Instructor (CDI) Tania Narvaez. The purpose of inspection is to follow up on Unusual Incident Reports which were submitted to the Department for January 2022. LPA Wheatley toured the inside and outdoors of the facility. LPA observed children playing inside of the two classrooms P1 (14) and P2 (13). LPA observed the children being properly supervised. According to the UIRs, there were 7 individuals reported for this site. All of the individuals (staff & children) who were reported to Los Angeles County Public County Health Department isolated at that time and have returned back to the facility. During the inspection, LPA observed all staff and children wearing face masks as it is strongly recommended by the Los Angeles Public Health Department and Torrance School District. LPA observed an abundance PPE, cleaning supplies and hand sanitizer inside the classrooms. LPA observed the restrooms fully stocked with soap and paper towels. LPA observed extra masks for adults and children. LPA observed a banner posted at the entrance of the school with the Covid-19 signs and symptoms. LPA discussed the updated Covid-19 guidelines. The isolation area is located outside. No deficiencies were cited, per Title 22 Division 12, Chapter 3, of the California Code of Regulations. An exit interview was conducted and a copy of this report will be provided to the Program Director via email.
