What the inspector wrote

On 05/20/2026, LPAs Dawn Dowling and Samantha Barba followed up on unusual incident reported on 04/23/3026 regarding floor in the main office needing repairs due to water damage. Traffic through the main office was impacted. Upon arrival, LPAs were greeted by Principal, Luis Sanchez, to whom the purpose of the inspection was announced and who then guided LPAs on a tour to take census. There were 14 children with 4 staff in Room # 1, in Room # 3, there were 11 children with 3 staff, in Room #2 there were 9 children with 2 staff, in Room #5 there were 5 children with 3 staff.. Per Principal, the issue was caused by rain coming into main door, which caused water damage of the tile flooring. Principal put in a request for repair on 04/22/2023 and the issue was resolved on 04/24/2026, by the district maintenance staff. Since the entry into the main office was impacted, children, parents and staff used the main gate entrance to go to their classrooms. During todays visit LPAs observed floor in the main office, photographs of the repairs were taken, LPAs observed the entry students, parents and staff used during repair of the floor. Photographs were obtained of area before repairs were done. Page 1 There are no deficiencies issued during today's visit. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
