On 11/17/2021 Licensing Program Analyst, Stella Gutierrez arrived at the facility to conduct an inspection for the purpose of a self reported incident that was reported on 09/21/2021. LPA was met by Director, Ericka Andrews and was provided a tour of the facility inside and out. During todays visit LPA observed 34 children and 9 staff providing supervision and care. All adults observed today are with criminal record clearance and are associated to A Bright Beginning, INC. It was reported that a vehicle crashed into the side wall of the facility in the PM hour of 09/20/2021. The incident occurred outside of the normal operating hours and there were no staff or children present at the facility at the time of the incident. The two year old classroom was not fit to be in operable condition after the incident occurred so Director stated that the children that are enrolled in the class were temporary relocated to the other school site located at Manchester Blvd effective 09/21/2021 . . Director stated that parents were informed of the relocation via Phone calls. In the classroom where the incident occured are the required postings that are now located in an off limits area. Director will provide LPA a picture via email by 11/19/2021 of required postings moved to a prominent area so they are visible at the facility. LPA, Gutierrez observed the classroom damages to not be completely corrected today. . Director stated that classroom will remain off limits and is expected to be fixed by the end of the month. Director will provide LPA, Gutierrez pictures via email once complete. . Before pictures were provided via email to LPA and after pictures taken during today's inspection. There are no deficiencies cited during today's inspection. A copy of this report and notice of site visit was provided to Director, Ericka Andrews.
