What the inspector wrote

On 4/22/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ranita Richmond conducted an unannounced visit to the above-named home. The reason for the visit is to conduct the 3 year Required Inspection. LPA was greeted by licensee Leonila Irias. LPA observed 2 children, being supervised and cared for by licensee. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 6:00am –8:00pm. Licensee is not open for overnight and weekend care. Licensee provides meals and appropriate beverages. LPA Richmond toured the home inside and outside for a Health and Safety inspection. The home is a single story house which consists of the following: 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, kitchen, dining room, enclosed patio, gated back yard, and detached garage. The home is neat and clean with heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. The applicants stated the OFF LIMIT AREAS are as follows: bedroom #2 , bedroom #3, bathroom #2 , and detached garage, which are inaccessible by child safety gates, closed and/or locked doors and visual supervision. The Applicants stated the following rooms are ON LIMITS: living room, bedroom #1, bathroom #1, kitchen, dining room, enclosed patio, and gated back yard. The ISOLATION AREA will be in the living room. The living room was changed from off limits to on limits during today’s visit. The home has a fully charged 2A:10: BC Fire Extinguisher in bedroom #1 and working smoke/ carbon monoxide detectors combos throughout the home. Licensee has documentation of fire/disaster drill completed March 2026. page 1 of 4
