What the inspector wrote

On 05/6/2025 at 1:30pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Devon Carus conducted a case management visit for increased monitoring. LPA met with Ziba Esteva, Licensee and explained the purpose of the visit. LPA observed 8 children in care supervised by 2 qualified adults, and the licensee. The purpose of the visit is to ensure the Licensee is maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for the children in care. LPA observed the facility to be clean, and orderly. Licensee will continue to provide care for the following ages: 3 months to 13 years of age. Licensee confirmed her operating hours are 7:30am - 6:00pm, Monday through Friday. LPA Carus reviewed the recent pool compliance items purchased including the alarm, life preserver ring, pool log, and pool hook and observed them to be in good working order. LPA Carus also inspected the recent back yard additions to the child care including newly installed turf in the back yard, and play equipment. LPA observed them to be safe and free of hazards. Licensee was advised that she can reach out to the department if she has further questions on licensing requirements. Based on observations made by the LPA, no deficiencies will be cited today . LPA did not observe any violations during today's visit. Facility will continue to be under increased monitoring on a quarterly basis. A notice of site visit was provided to the licensee. Exit interview was completed with Ziba Esteva, Licensee.
